If you’re an accountant, lawyer, banker, insurance advisor or business professional wanting to learn more about tax, be sure to register for the third annual Moodys Tax Summit. This year’s event will be held at the Sheraton Eau Claire in Calgary or you can attend online.
The Sheraton Eau Claire is committed to providing a safe and clean environment for our attendees. The hotel follows strict company guidelines to ensure thorough cleaning and disinfection, proper physical distancing and contactless interaction whenever possible.
We are proud to announce Russ Sheppard as our keynote speaker.
Russ is the owner of Spruce Notary & Legal in Cranbrook, B.C., where he also serves as a full-time lawyer. Prior to practicing law, he was a teacher in Kugluktuk, a small Inuit community in Nunavut that had one of the highest teen suicide rates in North America. Russ introduced a lacrosse program at the local school, which helped athletes create a sense of pride and purpose in themselves and their community. His story served as inspiration for the film “The Grizzlies,” which had its world premiere at the 2018 Toronto International Film Festival. In his keynote presentation, Russ will reflect on his experiences coaching and mentoring the team, while discussing the resiliency of the human spirit.
